Global Director of Cloud Distribution
How would you own and scale our relationships with Cloud Distributors?
Keepit is looking for a Global Director of Cloud Distribution to join our Alliance team
We are growing fast, and we are set on using our momentum to bring our SaaS cloud-based backup services to a global audience. We are seeing a promising route to market through cloud distributors, and we are currently building relationships with Pax8 and Sherweb. Therefore, we are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Global Director of Cloud Distribution to lead and scale our efforts.
As Global Director of Cloud Distribution at Keepit you will own onboarding and enabling of cloud distributors from the ground up — including sales process design, partner enablement, billing alignment, and technical integration (e.g., APIs, marketplace listings). You will be accountable for launching and operationalizing new distribution partnerships globally.
Key Responsibilities include:
Distributor Onboarding & Enablement
- Lead end-to-end onboarding of new distributors, starting with Pax8 — including sales training, technical enablement, marketplace activation, and integration planning.
- Define and implement scalable onboarding frameworks to accelerate time-to-value.
- Collaborate with product, finance, and operations teams to align on pricing, billing flows, order management, and API integrations.
Partner Management & Growth
- Act as the primary relationship owner for Pax8 and Sherweb.
- Build joint business plans with defined OKRs and KPIs, marketing initiatives, and sales engagement strategies.
- Drive alignment across distributor teams and internal stakeholders to increase pipeline and partner-sourced revenue.
Sales Process & Operational Ownership
- Ensure end-to-end sales motions are well-defined across the distributor ecosystem, including lead flow, deal registration, quoting, and order fulfillment.
- Partner with Revenue Operations to optimize distributor dashboards, reporting, and commission models.
- Own distributor-related onboarding documentation, playbooks, and process standardization.
Enablement & Training
- Develop and deliver role-based enablement for distributor sales, technical, and support teams.
- Align enablement efforts with key product launches, incentive programs, and go-to-market activities.
- Drive regular engagement through QBRs, training sessions, and executive alignment.
You will be joining our Alliance team in the US and report to our VP of Strategic Alliances. We expect you to work from a location that will make it possible to visit a key Pax8 or Sherweb location frequently or from Dallas where we have our US office.

- Business Development with Distributors: The ideal candidate is an expert in developing business relationships with relevant cloud distributors. A proven track record in Distribution or Channel sales will be essential.
- Onboarding and operationalizing cloud distributors: As this is a key part of the role, the ideal candidate must know what it takes to bring a vendor like Keepit live in a cloud marketplace, ideally from having done so with Pax8 or Sherweb in the past. Solid understanding of Salesforce, PRM tools, partner marketplaces, and billing systems will be a key component here.
- Cloud Distribution Ecosystem: For this role it is crucial to have a deep understanding of the ecosystem to help us prioritize our efforts and identify the next distributor we should work with.
- Technical acumen: The ideal candidate can support conversations on around product catalog syndication, provisioning flows, or API capabilities.
- Cross functional leadership and program management: The candidate must have the abilities to lead with a dotted line and can drive progress while adhering to a program, ensuring consistency with our distributors and across regions.
- Communication and stakeholder management: Managing internal and external stakeholders will be key for this role and the ideal candidate is an outstanding communicator that can make things happen while we build the trust that will help us be successful.
