MSP Business Development Manager, US East
How would you develop MSP Partnerships to bring our market-leading solution to a broader audience?
Keepit is seeking an MSP Business Development Manager to establish and develop MSP Partnerships across the US East.
We are growing rapidly as a company, and we are set on to bring our market-leading SaaS data protection and recovery services to a global audience. We have seen a lot of success with our MSP partnerships, which we consider a testament to the ease of use and the high quality of our solution. With the number of licenses for products like M365 and Entra ID that are managed by MSP organizations, there is still a huge potential for us to pursue. Therefore, we are expanding our team and looking for an MSP Manager to join our team.
As MSP Business Development Manager, you will be pivotal in identifying, negotiating, and developing MSP partnerships to drive business growth and market expansion. Your primary responsibility will be establishing and nurturing strong relationships with medium or large MSP partners, developing and executing strategies to drive mutual success, and achieving revenue targets.
Key responsibilities as MSP Business Development Manager with Keepit will include:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential MSP partners that align with the company's business objectives and growth strategy in the US.
- Lead negotiations, contract development, and ongoing partnership management to ensure mutually beneficial agreements and outcomes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the sales, marketing, product, and legal teams to drive successful partnership implementations and initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between MSP Partners and Keepit’s R&D/Product teams to ensure that solutions are aligned with emerging technology trends and market needs.
- Design and deliver tailored training and enablement programs for partners, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to effectively position and sell Keepit’s solutions.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, reporting, and metrics analysis to track success and devise strategies for continuous improvement.
As MSP Manager, you will be joining our Alliance team in the US and reporting to our VP of Alliances. We expect you to work from within a key business hub such as New York City, Washington, Boston, making it possible for you to meet with our potential partners.
A fair and transparent recruitment process
To ensure a fair and transparent recruitment process, we want to present the assessment criteria we will use in the interview process to find a good match to join our team and our scale-up journey. We will focus on the following:
- MSP Partnership hunting: The ideal candidate has outstanding abilities to identify the right partnerships and drive mutually beneficial business relationships while maintaining a razor-sharp focus on revenue generation as the end goal.
- MSP Partner enablement: The role requires the ability to enable sales representatives working for our MSP partners to sell our solution.
- Understanding the business value of Cloud Backup and Recovery: The role therefore requires a solid understanding of the technical aspects of the backup- and recovery space, storage, or IT-infrastructure, for example from working with our competitors, as well as the ability to effectively communicate the business value of our product.
- Hunter-mentality: We are looking for someone ready to hunt for new business. We believe this requires a hunter-mentality and a person prepared to spend time and energy seeking new business relationships. Having a strong network of potential MSP partners throughout the region will be a key asset.
- Entrepreneurial spirit: We are looking for a candidate who is motivated by the opportunity to come in and have a huge impact in a scale-up company and who is willing to accept that we need to lay some tracks as we move in this stage of our journey.
