Senior Project Lead - Business Transformation & Change

The Senior Project Lead plays a critical leadership role in driving cross-functional programs and change initiatives within our transformation and modernization efforts. Operating as part of the PMO, this role ensures end-to-end delivery of strategic projects across systems, processes, and people - aligning business needs with execution and sustainable change adoption.
Working in close collaboration with business analysts, system owners, engineering, and stakeholders across the organization, the Senior Project Lead ensures projects are delivered on time, on scope, and with lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Project Management
- Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end delivery of complex business and technology transformation initiatives.
- Define project scope, goals, success metrics, and timelines in alignment with executive sponsors.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, including business analysts, architects, engineers, and subject matter experts.
Change Management
- Drive stakeholder engagement, communication plans, training readiness, and business change adoption.
- Identify change impact across departments, roles, and processes — and mitigate resistance proactively.
- Champion the value case and ensure the organization is prepared to adopt new ways of working.
Governance & Reporting
- Establish and maintain program charters, risk registers, steering committee materials, and project documentation.
- Track milestones, KPIs, risks, and dependencies using tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent.
- Prepare regular executive reporting and alignment to the strategic roadmap.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Senior Business Systems Analysts to ensure clear requirements, scope management, and traceability.
- Act as the link between executive vision, operational readiness, and technical delivery.
- Facilitate workshops, decision-making sessions, and stakeholder alignment across business units
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have:
- 7+ years of project/program management experience, preferably in enterprise SaaS, IT transformation, or system implementations.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional change and system programs (e.g., ERP/CRM/CPQ/Billing).
- Deep understanding of project delivery frameworks (Agile, SAFe, hybrid waterfall-agile) and change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, Kotter).
- Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership skills across senior stakeholders.
- Fluent in project tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, Confluence, PowerPoint).
Nice-to-Have:
- PMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe certification.
- Familiarity with business architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, BIZBOK).
- Understanding of enterprise system landscapes and data integration challenges.
- Experience supporting pricing, packaging, and business model transformations (Simon-Kucher frameworks is a plus).
