About the role:
We are looking for a Public Sector Account Executive to join our DACH sales organization and strengthen our presence in Germany.
Based in Munich, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, or Cologne, you will manage and grow relationships with key public sector accounts, including ministries, public agencies, and large institutions. You will focus on enterprise customers and leverage existing partnerships while driving new opportunities within the established market. This is a senior sales role with real impact, combining account management, new business development, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key responsibilities:
• Own and manage the full sales cycle for public sector customers, including navigating procurement processes, responding to tenders, and conducting high-level demos of Keepit’s SaaS solution.
• Build and strengthen trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers in ministries, agencies, and other public institutions to position Keepit as their go-to partner.
• Systematically manage your pipeline and forecast accurately on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Collaborate with the Regional Partner Manager to leverage the established partner ecosystem for the public sector in Germany.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities within the territory to grow Keepit’s footprint in the public sector.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer success and smooth deal execution.
About you:
• Proven track record in enterprise sales within the public sector.
• Strong experience engaging multiple stakeholders and navigating complex decision-making processes.
• Experience with data protection, backup, or SaaS/IT infrastructure solutions is a plus.
• Skilled at building long-term, trust-based relationships with C-level and senior decision-makers.
• Self-driven, proactive, and collaborative, with the ability to work in a fast-growing scale-up environment.
• Fluent in German and English.
